Number 1-7 Club meetings It seems to me that 3 out of every month is the minimum NOT 2 out of every month.
Number 25  This should not be disturbed. Very good rule for the busy Rotarian to make them feel like they can have respectable attendance.
Number 37 (membership) "failed to investigate" is not well defined. Our district was blind sided by Rotary on a GSE issue (ask Larry). The issue, in my opinion was that R. I. was not required to fully investigate the the complaint OR (if there even was one) or BE ALLOWED to comment during the investigation period . Empowering someone in Chicago (without REQUIRING better communication) doesn't meet the "four way test". required to allow our district to: 1) BE AWARE of the investigation
Number 41 (Membership) If a Rotarian is terminated for cause, why is allowed to "Make up" anywhere? Why is he even allowed to attend a meeting anywhere without clearing his termination?
Number 43 (Membership) Limit the Rotary club from joining the new Entity to the duration of the "project" or 3 years which ever is less.
Number 46 (Club officers)   Hell Yeah!!
Number 47 (Club officers)   Hell No!!
Number 72 (Programs) I Like this one !!!!!
Number 88 (Avenues of Service) Am I the only one who thought we had already done that???
Number 101-105 (Families) As I understand it there is only one Inner wheel chapter in Florida (I saw 3- 4 in India). Since we allow spouses as Rotarians in our district, I think segregation into a "spouse support" organization is mis-placed. Get the Spouse into Rotary (same of different club) if they are interested. Our club has three couples and has had two others in recent past.
Number 121  We should liberalize the definition of "buildings". One of our grants was held up because of the "wiring" that was NEEDED to complete the project. We had to locate additional outside money to do what we needed to do because it was going to be "attached" to the BUILDING.  O' my god!!
Number 125-127 I agree with the age 45 limit. 40 is OK but 45 is better. I don't, however, think this will allow us to located candidates easier.
Number 128  No!! Maturity AND proven community Service is key to a good exchange.
Number 129  No this should be a local decision (if they want on, they should be on). I didn't realize that the DGE was required to be on the committee. In our district it is, but this makes sense.
Number 130. GSE IS the MOST popular program of the Rotary Foundation. I agree Mike, why would we not enhance the DGN's ability to connect with other districts easier. A one day "meet and greet" doesn't get it for me.
Number 133 I agree but limit them to less than 20% of all candidates. Shouldn't be an IRS issue then.
Number 134 There is NO forum for listing a project that needs a partner (this means that international project looking for U.S club partners have to solicit one on one instead of listing them where someone interested in their type project can find them. This would also diminish the "Caribbean initiative"
Number 146 I agree with no less than 40 clubs OR no less than 1,000 rotarians. So it's Half right!
Number 154 It may add a small burden, BUT it allows presidents time to consider any recommendations at a district conference instead of being given an issue "on the fly".
Number 158 - R. I. does not currently require a "review" of the district finances. Based on three conversations I've had with R. I. it is a process that does not meet the CPA definition of "review" done by a competent Rotarian Accountant Personnel. Call me to discuss Mike.
Number 189 It would allow them to reduce tree cutting for joint our Rotarians. That would be three in my club, maybe 50 in our district, maybe 200 in our zone. 'nuff said.
Number 200 No! What were they drinking anyway?
Number 202 - OK but Reagan reduced the "regulations" on the EPA and it served him well, right? (cough cough, excuse me but the smog just got really bad there for a moment).
Number 212 Hey can we ask them to use Green (the color for 2007-2008) AGAIN in 2009-2010? (What's an Irishman to do? They'll probably pick Orange for my year anyway?)
Number 213-221 There are 27 separate Indian regional languages. Do you think that the Indians are taking over this section of the legislative council?
Number 240 - I think the nomination should be in the fall (September - November) not February as some districts do. Would this enforce the Sept -Nov rule or create a March - April nomination??
Number 266 Their is currently very little training for the AG's. Training them is currently being don by our district and is (this year) being considered for the Florida PETS. I hope I'm recanting correctly what I have been hearing. Ask Phil about this issue.
Number 279-285  Disagree We should all pay dues. Someone under 35 can pay the dues. If not, we're asking the wrong folks.

Hey you made it this far. I hope it was organized for your to look over.
Thanks,
    Ed Rowan
