I am mindful of the effect this has on the
ability to participate in RI activities. Things are much easier if they are in one's own language. Nonetheless, I would like to see a cost-benefit survey that shows how many RI participants would be affected by these proposals. We don't have the resources to include every language. We have to spend our money wisely to impact the most number of persons. Until the impact studies are done, I will be opposed to this type of legislation. |
