As the Governor is the only officer of RI in the District, protecting RI logos is already a duty even if not so stated. |

This policy would decrease RI licensing revenues and require a corresponding increase in dues. It also would take control of licensing away from the Board of Directors. All around bad idea! |

In the event that clubs or Districts sell RI logo'd merchandise, there should be a license fee - the current system works fine. |

Marks without payment of royalties when raising funds for The Rotary Foundation |
The difference here is that all proceeds go to the Rotary Foundation. I agree with this proposal. |

This sounds good on the surface. $1.3 million would go to the Foundation. That revenue would have to be recouped in the RI budget through dues increases. Not a good idea at all. |

on alcohol and products containing alcohol |
This would increase revenue to RI. However, I am not convinced at this point that selling booze with the RI logo on it is a good idea. |
